Doron Liban
CEO
EMEX CEO & Co Founder. Prior to this, Mr. Liban was CEO and Project Director of several large-scale projects in the construction and energy fields.
Mr. Liban holds an MBA in Financial Engineering from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, and an LL.B from Tel Aviv University.
Gregor Weinzettel
Director
Gregor Weinzettel is an energy economist with long-term experience in energy sector.
He worked for the German competition commission, the EEX Group and the Energy Community. Continuously focusing on improving regional energy market functioning.
Mr. Weinzettel has 10 years of experience in regional energy exchange market development, M&A, diplomacy, political and regulatory affairs in the energy sector.
He established several well-functioning energy markets, supported the development of clearing systems and help countries with diversification and security of supply.
Daniel Fichtner
CEO
Mr. Fichtner is working for EEX AG and located in Paris. Following consultancy stations at Sopra Steria and PricewaterhouseCoppers Advisory he joined EEX Group. He has been active in various roles in the Clearing and Trading Business and is leading the Business Development for EEX natural gas and hydrogen markets. He studied Information and Business Science in Dresden, Germany.
Moshe Bachar
Director
Mr Bachar is a private consultant. Prior to this, Mr. Bachar built a 35-year career at the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC), Israel’s state-owned electricity company, serving in senior management roles. His last position there was deputy CEO at IEC.
Mr. Bachar holds a BSC. In Mechanical Engineering from the Technion, in Haifa, and an MBA from Derby University.
Dr. Egbert Laege
Director
Dr. Laege held various senior and executive management positions in the energy and commodity trading business.
Dr. Laege is General Trustee and CEO of GPG in Berlin, securing security-of-supply for the German Gas Infrastructure in the name of the German Energy Regulator.
He serves as a Senior Advisor to the international consultancy BCG within the Energy and Commodity Trading Practice. Prior to that
Member of the Management Board at the European Energy Exchange (EEX)
CEO of EEX Gas Exchange (Powernext) and of EEX Asia.
CCO and Member of the Management Board of E.ON.
Board functions in various Energy Industry Associations like EFET and EUROPEX
Egbert has studies in Energy Engineering and Energy Economics at University of Stuttgart/Germany and University of Arizona/USA and holds Ph.D. in Energy Economics.
