The trading platform is purely web-based, and requires no front-end installation or plugins. It is scalable, to cope with an increasing number of users, products, orders and trades, and is securely-deployed in the cloud.

It is designed, built and maintained by EEX and its fully owned subsidiary, KB-Tech, a UK-based software development company with extensive global experience.

EEX will be operating the platform from its gas business unit located in Paris.
